Welcome to the Archive. You read that right, I am open sourcing my entire business degree.

This entry will walk you through how to use the Archive, as well as explain the various features of each entry. If you hate reading, you can always watch the video.

This is the Archive, and it’s the hub for everything; every video, lesson, source, unit. All of it is organized here to make learning business as easy and useful as possible.

The first thing you’ll see is the homepage, which you’re on right now. You can come back here any time from my main website, by clicking the link in my socials, or by typing calebhart.com/archive into your browser. I recommend bookmarking this page if you plan to come back here.

At the top of this page, you’ll see a few things. On the left, you can find the navigation tabs which bring you to the different pages of the platform. On the right, is the search bar. You can search for anything; first it will see if your search appears in any titles or sections, and then it will look for keywords, to see what entries mention your search anywhere on the post. All you have to do is type in what you’re looking for.

If you scroll down, you’ll see different sections for organization, kind of like the Netflix homepage. What these sections do is organize entries, which are displayed as little cards.

An “entry” is the page that holds all the content, links, and info on one given topic. If you click on a card, it will bring you to the entry page. Here, you can watch that topic’s video, find it on any social platform, download pdfs and other resources, or read the content yourself directly from the page, like a blog. Every entry page has a sources section, which holds every single source that was used, such as people, textbooks, and regular published books.

These entries, as well as additional useful content, is also organized in the “Syllabus” tab, which functions as a table of contents, so that you can easily navigate different topics.

If you see an entry you like or want to come back to, hit the bookmark button to save it, and you can find it in your saved posts.

You can also leave comments on posts. The comments section allows users to suggest changes, add their own sources and insights, or point out possible mistakes. To paraphrase Eric Jorgenson, ‘any brilliance is that of the sourced authors and thinkers; any mistakes are mine.’ The comments section is meant to be a useful tool where we can all help each other learn. I will do my best to read those comments, and update entries over time. Trolls and spammers will be obliterated; don’t get obliterated.

In order to save posts and make comments, you need to create an account so that the information stays with you. The signup process is simple and takes less than 30 seconds. You don’t even need to create a password. You do not need an account to access any of the main contents of the Archive, only if you want to save posts or make comments.

Because once the floodgates are open, there is going to be a lot of content in here. All of that will be organized efficiently in the Syllabus tab, and in other ways, and we will be shipping ongoing updates to make the user experience even better. But in the newsletter, I will be sending you only the best and most actionable entries and lessons, so that you can learn more effectively in less time.

There is no limit to what this project can become, but there is a beginning. And this is the beginning of infinity.
